provide the support you need in order to get started. Custom training

Getting Started with Youth Robotics -
1 hr Presentation and time for Q&A
4-H Volunteer Orientation
*** Required for all new volunteers
1 1/2 hrs
EV-3 Workshop for Robofest Competition
in person or online
1 1/2 hour introduction to the programming required for the Robofest
robotics competition. Including game strategy and code examples
for the current game.
Intro to FIRST Lego League
3 hrs, Introduction to FLL, including Core Values,
Building and Programming VEX
Robots for Competition
2 part training, 6 hrs total
Beginning Programming with LEGO NXT
and EV-3 Robots
Intermediate/Advanced Programming
Techniques for LEGO NXT and EV-3 Robots
Making and Doing Safely – Introduction to
Lab:Revolution, the 4-H Technology Playground
Makerspace
*** Required for all families working on projects during
open shop time. Must complete additional safety training
on certain tools before they may be used.
Custom Training for 4-H Staff and Volunteers of the
Southeast Region 10am - 3pm
General Introduction to youth robotics and setting up a new program.
Introduction to EV3 robots - design, build and programming,
Basic and intermediate topics will be covered, including the use
of sensors. This training is designed to give leaders lots of hands on
time with their robots, and provide them with resources for
starting new robotics clubs and programs.
